From beginners to experienced lake-goers, the Kroc Center has swim lessons for every stage of your child's swimming experience. Swimmers will move through five different levels as their skills progress.

HOW TO SIGN UP

• Evaluate your child’s swim ability and choose a class level, date and time from the calendar below.

• Check-in to your class at the Kroc Membership Services Desk, and then head to the pool. Remember to bring a towel!

• At the end of the set of lessons, your Instructor will recommend the appropriate class level for the next set of lessons. Class levels are frequently repeated to allow students to master skills and feel successful before moving on to a new level.

Swim Lessons University® Swim Lessons

At the Kroc Community Center we strive to offer our members the best of the best when it comes to programming for their kids. That’s why we offer a swim lesson program by Swim Lessons University. These specially-developed lessons focus more on skill development regardless of age. Skill progression is measured using the Achievement Award System; Each swimmer will receive a color-coded bracelet according to swim level. These bracelets signal to all pool staff how comfortable and capable your child is in the water. Each skill a child must learn is printed on the bracelet and checked off when mastered.

In Swim 100 level classes your child will learn to “swim like a fish” through a child-centered, activity-oriented approach, coupled with unique skill progression in submersion, breath holding and control, kicking, paddle stroke and underwater swimming.
