Thank you for your interest in The Salvation Army Kroc Community Center. Here are a few ways you can partner with the Kroc to shape, impact and save lives in Green Bay.
These programs currently need the most support to ensure their success. Check below for even more ways to give back now and throughout the year. Any gift will make an impact in our community.
Every life deserves to shine. No one in need is turned away from the life-changing opportunities at The Salvation Army Kroc Community Center through the Kroc Scholarship Program. With an average of 500 individuals on scholarship, this is by far the Kroc's largest outreach and single greatest need for community support.
What kids take home from this camp won't fit in a backpack. Summer Day Camp provides everything a child needs to make great summer memories and learn that no matter what happens in life, they are cared for. Donations make it possible to send the kids who couldn't otherwise afford it, but need it the most, to camp!
The Salvation Army offers rental and utility assistance, transportation assistance, food pantry and Pathway of Hope Case Management program. Donated funds make sure basic needs are met for families every month.
The Salvation Army Transitional Housing program is a true example of community collaboration in meeting human needs. The Salvation Army works with the Ecumenical Partnership for Housing and provides intense and holistic case management to families transitioning out of homelessness.
The Salvation Army provides a variety of services and activities to help our community's older adults stay active, independent and socially connected.
The Salvation Army volunteer disaster team responds to fires, floods, tornadoes and other natural disasters. The team also supports firefighters, police and other first responders working at the disaster, providing food, beverages and moral and spiritual support and encouragement to those at the scene.
Provide a local family in need with food to put on the table. Donations are used to purchase food for The Salvation Army's Noon Feeding Program, which provides a free, hot, nutritious meal for anyone who is in need.
The Salvation Army provides Hotel Vouchers to eligible families who are temporarily homeless and unable to secure shelter. They also provide Thrift Store Vouchers for clothing for families in need and furniture for families and individuals moving out of a homeless situation.
The Salvation Army is committed to being there to help families and children when times are at their darkest. We believe no child deserves to grow up without hope for a better tomorrow. Donations support our Summer Day Camp, after school program and Character Building programs.
The Salvation Army provides supplies to start the school year off right, coats to keep children warm in the winter and presents and food for families at Christmastime.
